A wedding is rarely one supplier’s work. Knotflix lets you credit the venue, the florist, the DJ and anyone else at the bottom of the couple’s gallery, and keeps what you type in a vendor book so the next wedding is a two-character search rather than a retype.
Open a wedding, choose Vendors, and start typing a name. Anyone already in your book appears as you type, and picking one fills the category and website for you. A vendor you have never credited before is simply typed in, and joins the book on save.
A vendor with an email address on their credit receives exactly one message — their work is featured, here is the couple, here is the gallery. Once each, never twice, and only if you gave an address.
The timing is the part worth knowing. If the gallery has not gone out yet, the email is sent when you publish. If the gallery is already live, the email goes the moment you save the credit. There is no queue and no delay, so a credit added on a Tuesday afternoon reaches that vendor on Tuesday afternoon.
Vendors is its own page in the studio menu. Every vendor you have ever credited is there, most-used first, and if you sync a CRM its vendors are there too. Editing a record changes what gets filled in next time — it does not touch a gallery you have already delivered.
Two filters do most of the work. One shows the vendors with no category; the other shows the addresses that arrived from your CRM and nobody has looked at yet. Both are backlogs rather than errors, and both shrink as you work through them.
Only if you put an email address on the credit. With an address, they get one message: when you publish the gallery, or immediately if it is already published. Without one, nothing is ever sent and the credit still appears.
No. An import deliberately carries the name, category and website and leaves the email behind, so it cannot send anything. That is the difference between importing a batch and typing one in.
Check whether the address came from your CRM. Those are contacts your team collected for its own use, not addresses anyone opted in with, which is why Knotflix marks them unreviewed and asks before sending to one.
Yes, and that is the point of the book. The page shows how many weddings each vendor is on, so the venues and DJs you actually book rise to the top.
Yes, on weddings you have featured for search. That is usually what a vendor wants — a page naming the venue, the couple and everyone who worked on the day.
